Thank you! :)

What an incredible feeling to have been able to experience 4 things that I have never done before, and may not get the opportunity to do again! I loved hiking, biking, rock climbing, and wake boarding SO much! It is so amazing that we were able to do all of this in a span of two weeks! Thank you so much to Doc and Leanne, and all of the people who helped us! :)

WAKE BOARDING!

Yesterday I was able to go to a private lake and wake board, thanks to Leanne and her family and friends! I had an awesome time and was actually able to get up on the board. I have tried once before but was unsuccessfully, so it felt really good to be on top of the water for a little bit! Now, the next day, I am sore but want to be out on the water again so bad! I need to try again so I can get comfortable with it! I just had such a great time!

Pashastin Rock Climb

I had the most amazing time on Thursday in Pashastin rock climbing. How wonderful to have the opportunity to experience something new, and something you may never have another  chance to be a part of. I was able to climb five times, receiving an advanced grade. I was proud of myself for being capable of achieving this much on an activity I have never done before. Everyone did such a great job! :) I would definitely, given the opportunity again, jump on a chance to go rock climbing with all of the experienced helpers and company.

Rock Climbing

Last Thursday we worked on the climbing wall at Ellensburg High School. Here we learned what we need to call out while we are climbing and while we are on the ground working with the ropes. We also learned how to tie two basic knots, which we will need to remember for this week when we travel to Leavenworth for the real thing. I am more excited then anything for this Thursday's rock climbing because I think it will be a fun, new, and adventurous activity to try. We will just have to see how it goes! :) I can't wait!

Advanced Bike Ride

Wow, I had a really great time today on our bike ride! I did not even notice how far we had gone, or how difficult the ride was because my concentration was on the beautiful outdoors and the warm air blowing in my face. :) The only part that was a bit scary was after we had taken our break on the way down hill. It was pretty steep at first but then eased up and was a lot of fun! I wish that the rest of the ride would not have been closed off because I think I would have enjoyed it! I would love to go back and do the ride once again!

HIKING

We went on the hike at Manastash last Tuesday. It was definitely a good work out! I had to take some rest breaks, like most others did. However, I thought I did pretty well. I liked going at my own pace and let the others pass me for a bit. This was nice because I did not feel hurried and I was able to enjoy the gorgeous view around me!

Advanced BIKING

I was originally signed up for the recreational bike ride and recently switched to the advanced session next Tuesday. I am a little bit nervous that the terrain will be too difficult for me to ride on. Doc said that he believes I can do it if I practice, so practice I will do. I am determined to successfully complete the course and work my hardest to do so! If anyone would like to practice with me, let me know! :)
