Orienteering: Compasses & Maps

Last Thursday we worked on orienteering; we used compasses and maps to find our way around. Being an individual whom can be quite terrible with directions at times, I was excited to see what this class session would bring to me. As it turns out, compasses and maps are much easier to read then I had previously thought. Although it took me a couple of times to successfully complete the given activities using a compass, I would now be able to look at one later and navigate. The campus map was easy for me to read, as it should be. I really enjoyed exploring some of the Central campus that I had not been to before; I will probably use that activity for one of my classes in the future!
