Honors Camp & Mosquitos

We are back from honors camp with tired bodies and a whole lot of mosquito bites. However, another experience with students (middle school eighth graders) to put under our belts. We arrived on Friday afternoon not knowing what to expect. After meeting with the recreation/tourism students and the honors kids, we knew this weekend would be filled with camp songs, and fun! Limwell, Tiffany, and I did our class sessions on survival shelters, which ended up being an absolute blast. The three of us worked very well on a team together and the students seemed to enjoy learning and applying their new found survival skills with their friends. I hope to take part in another camp experience in the future!
